Interior Design
Alan Wier has taught all levels of interior design studio (undergraduate and graduate) and associated theory and practice courses. He was an Interior Space Design faculty member at The Ohio State University when the program was reviewed and Accredited by FIDER. Studio projects included furniture, residential, educational, commercial, office, and medical facilities problems. In all cases students were required to study the problem, conduct research, develop a set of conceptual solutions (through sketches and models), further refine aspects of space planning, human interaction, lighting, materials, and color. Then produce final presentation materials including plans, renderings and detailed models.
