Modus / Chrysler Interactive System

In its first major interactive project Retail Planning Associates put together a strategic team of designers, developers and training specialists. This partnership has developed for Chrysler Corporation a revolutionary shopping process for new and pre-owned vehicles. The Process delivers control into the hands of the vehicle buying client within a fully integrated Transportation Center

 

The Transportation Center consists of interactive Information Points, the Research Center, and the Vehicle Care Center. The modus price on every vehicle is a predetermined price with all options and value clearly shown.

The client can use the advanced modus technology unassisted with easy-to-use touch computers to provide all the facts and figure needed for one-stop comparison shopping.

Or the client can talk things over with a Transportation Advisor. The client can use on-line resources at the modus Research Center to explore Chrysler and other manufacturers products. The client can get help when they want it.

The modus Transportation Advisors have been specially trained to work with the client in gathering information. Clients can even shop at any time with the 24-hour modus Information Point - giving them information on current vehicle inventory.

 

The modus interactive Information Point system includes five major components. The client can discover their best options in Needs Assessment; the Financial Calculator can show the client different budget scenarios based upon down payment, trade-in value, possible finance rates, number of payments and vehicle cost, as well as getting pre-approved credit... on-line;

New Vehicle Search helps the client set criteria and the system does the rest by showing available vehicles which meet the criteria; Pre-owned Vehicle Search does the same thing for the not-so-new; dropping a vehicle and selecting services wanted at the Vehicle Care Center is available 24 hours a day.
