adidas Web Site
The project scope included:
1. Design, develop, test and implement in-store interactive initially in Macromedia
Director, then executed in RPA's proprietary Trellis software
2. Development of eBusiness strategy
the adidas project represents a full-court press of retail/interactive strategy combined with delivering customer experience across both physical and on-line channels.
This was a visionary concept to integrate both Adidas and retailer systems at the retailer - since at the time Adidas did not have their own retail presence - they depended on retailers like Foot Locker.
First, the Summary and Conclusions of an extensive Retail/Interactive Strategy presented to Adidas. Alan Wier worked as the Interactive Strategist together with a RPA retail strategist to create a blended strategy.
Second, we then created a stepped approach to Next Steps to move towards a fully integrated electronic retail shopping experience - in a physical environment - considering the experiences and benefits for the customer, the retailer and adidas.
Third, Alan Wier then provided several functional and navigation concepts. It shows a whole site navigation map and a series of functional screen layouts. The screen layouts focus on customer experience, the shopping process, and issues of cross-merchandising, product comparison, integration of Adidas branded content, local events, etc.
