Alan Wier was V.P. Application Strategy in the E-Retail Group at Retail Planning Associates in Columbus OH. He developed interactive strategy, information architecture, design and customer experience for both in-store interactive and web based electronic retail. These “click” initiatives have been closely synchronized with the “brick” channels for clients such as: Microsoft, Chrysler Modus, Kodak, Bell Mobility, AutoNation, and adidas.

adidas wanted an In-store interactive brand messaging and eBusiness web strategy. Budget $150K. Mr. Wier was the eBusiness strategist/designer for a project with short-term implementation and long-term vision. The short-term adidas-branding component (10 week delivery window) was a high energy in-store interactive for a new sports zone in Macy's Harold Square Store in New York City. The long-term vision component was a eBusiness strategy examining adidas opportunities (May 1999 - October 1999)
